You are looking at a hand forged 1095 folded steel rosewood tanto. The blade is made of 1095 folded carbon steel it has been folded 13 times with 8192 layers. The blade is sharp and fully functional, capable of cutting things like paper, bamboo, tatami mats, water bottles.

The saya is rosewood with a natural wood grain finish and features a metal dragon Kojiri (scabbard tip) and dragon Koiguchi (scabbard mouth). The saya has been crafted to contour the shape of the blade and fits seamlessly into the handle.

Tsuka: The habaki is a one piece brass construction that secures the blade. The tsuka is the same natural rosewood as the saya with a metal dragon kashira (end cap).
