Why a custom Japanese sword?
For example, imagine you’d just want to wield a massive sword that could split a horse in two with a strike (not that you’d actually want to do it). Well, then you’d probably pick a Nodachi, maximize blade length, and customize the rest the way you wanted. In a matter of time, you’ll be receiving at your doorstep a monstrosity of a sword that looks exactly the way you wanted and delivers powerful blows like no other sword.
One of the best things about custom swords is that you can turn them in more than swords. Do dragons have a special significance in your family? Then choose dragon fittings and turn it into a sword that one day you’ll give to your son to keep family traditions. You can even give it a name and have it carved into the blade!
Custom Swords Made to Order
At Katanasforsale, we have one of the largest arrays of customizable Japanese swords in the world, with hundreds of different options that vary from the design of the fittings, to the type of metal, size of the blade, coloring pigmentation, and more! All of that is at your disposal from the moment you start customizing your sword.
One of the most important things you should look for when buying custom swords it’s they’re actually functional. After all, no one wants to pay for an overpriced wallhanger, right? That’s why, all our swords are 100% full-tang. This means that the steel of the blade goes all the way into the handle (instead of stopping at the handguard). This creates strong swords that can actually be used for real cutting.
On top of that, all our swords are made with different graduations of carbon steel. This is the genuine steel used for samurai weapons throughout history (only refined and with fewer impurities than steel in ancient times). Thanks to this, all our swords are as deadly and strong as those samurai used in feudal Japan. So you can rest assured the sword that you get is an actual work of art that looks fantastic and is actually deadly in combat.
That’s why, if you’re looking for custom swords for sale, we highly recommend you take a look at our collection and give it a try! Just select the sword you want and start customizing. We’re sure you’ll love the experience.
