Why a Dao?
The Dao is the legendary Chinese weapon that was wielded by warriors during the Ming dynasty.
The name "DAO" actually means "knife," but don't be fooled by its humble name. If you're imagining a simple blade that looks like your average kitchen knife, think again. DAO swords were the pinnacle of Chinese swords —- fierce, powerful, and undeniably stylish. They were curved, with a single-edged blade that was around three feet long, and the handle was long enough to be wielded with two hands.
