This is a traditional Hand Forged Japanese samurai sword. We call it Katana. Overall length is approximately 102cm. The sword is hand forged and made of AISI 1060 high carbon steel. The blade has been tempered and water quenched.
This Katana features a silk tsukamaki, black samegawa, round Japanese ocean theme tsuba fuchi kashira and begins with a bronze blade collar (Habaki). Each side of the guard is secured by a bronze spacer (Seppa), this fitting is only found on hand crafted swords. A sword bag is included.

- Blade: The blade has been constructed from heat tempered 1060 carbon steel. The blade comes full tang and sharp.
- Saya: The saya is wooden with a white gloss finish and white silk sageo.
- Tsuka: The habaki is brass. The tsuba is metal alloy with Japanese Ocean theme. The fuchi Kashira are also made of metal alloy. The ito is white with alternating criss-cross over ray skin samegawa. The tang is double pinned with bamboo mekugi.
